Heroes, villains, monsters and everything in between take over New York Comic Con.
Created as social content for NECA, this fast-moving convention piece showcases the creativity and spectacle of NYCC cosplay while highlighting NECA and its partner brands’ presence at the show.
Rather than focusing solely on products or the convention booth, the video captures the fans themselves—and the characters that make Comic Con such a distinctive experience.
This was one of several pieces of social content I produced around NECA’s convention presence.
The concept was deliberately simple: Comic Con already provides an enormous amount of visual energy, so rather than overcomplicate the production, I focused on finding great costumes, capturing quick moments with cosplayers and assembling them into something immediate and fun.
The piece was designed as lightweight, social-first event coverage—content that could be captured quickly on the convention floor, edited efficiently and used to keep NECA and its partner brands visible while the event was happening.
For projects like this, the challenge isn't necessarily inventing a complicated concept. It's recognizing what the environment is already giving you, capturing it efficiently and turning it into content while the moment is still relevant.
