A simple eyeshadow application becomes a quick visual transformation in Bright Eyes.
Working without a host or voiceover, the tutorial follows the model as she layers and blends the eye makeup, moving from wider demonstrations to detailed close-ups of the eyelid and lower lash line.
The finished piece delivers the entire process in just over 30 seconds, ending with a bright, luminous look.
This was an assignment I inherited while covering for someone else. I was asked if I could take ownership of the video, which meant stepping in to shoot it, direct the model and build the finished piece in the edit.
Because the tutorial was short and entirely visual, the coverage had to explain the technique without spoken instruction. I moved between medium shots that established what the model was doing and extreme close-ups that made the application and blending visible.
In the edit, I reduced the material to a clean progression from application to finished look, keeping the pacing quick without making the tutorial difficult to follow.
