Dermatologist Dr. Bobby Buka breaks down a common skin-health concern, translating the medical science behind it into information viewers can understand and use.
Part of HealthiNation’s physician-led clinical programming, the video puts the specialist at the center: authoritative enough to provide credible medical guidance, but conversational enough to make a complicated health topic approachable.
Like much of our clinical programming, this content began with a condition or treatment area connected to an advertising campaign. From there, our job was to develop useful editorial programming around the subject—not simply reproduce the message of the advertisement.
Before filming, I researched the topic and developed a series of focused questions for Dr. Buka. The interview was structured modularly, with individual questions designed to generate complete, self-contained answers that could become separate pieces of content.
That approach allowed a single session with a busy medical professional to generate multiple targeted videos rather than one long interview.
Dr. Buka also demonstrates another benefit of the process. A strong physician wasn't simply a source of medical information; someone who could communicate naturally and clearly on camera could become recurring talent. Dr. Buka ultimately appeared across numerous HealthiNation skin-health videos, allowing us to build a recognizable body of dermatologist-led content around his expertise.
The production model combined research, expert access, modular interviewing and editorial packaging—turning a single shoot into a library of focused, medically reviewed patient education.
